20th Anniversary Devon, Cornwall and the Isles Conference

Thank you to everybody who made the 20th Anniversary Devon, Cornwall and the Isles conference such a wonderful day. Thank you to the speakers: Julian Vayne, Penny Billington, Marian Green, Suzanne Rance and Ronald Hutton for talks which inspired and delighted us; thank you to Merv and Alison Davey for magical piping and drumming and leading the massive spiral dance, thank you to Damh, Blanche and Mike for wonderful music which made us dance, sing and cry; thank you to Arthur Billington for the coolest of blues on Friday evening; thanks to Alli and her wonderful team who created the extraordinary closing ritual which opened the doors to the otherworld; thanks to everyone who helped (there are too many to list but you know who you are) and, most of all, thank you to all of your, our audience, who came and made it such a special day. Thanks to you all it was a day of true mutual celebration which really reminded many of us what Paganism is all about. As Marian said so memorably, “We are standing on the shoulders of giants.”

Several people asked me the source of the Prayer of Awakening of Isis. You can find it in: The Mysteries of Isis – her worship and magick by De Tracy Regula (Llewellyn, St Paul Minnesota, 1995).

Also: our charity raffle raised £400 for the RNLI.

I know lots of you are coming again next year and on behalf of the team, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to one and all, whatever your path, old friends or new, to the 2019 Pagan Phoenix SW conference and celebration at Penstowe Manor on 9th March 2019.

Blessed Be,

Levannah Morgan
