On the day information

Thank you for supporting our latest Spring conference.  We have a new venue this year, in a new location and new facilities.  Hence, we wanted to make a few logistical announcements about what you may need to know on the day to help everything run smoothly.

A full programme is attached and available online (https://paganphoenixsw.com/2022/02/28/ppsw-2022-conference-programme ).  A printed copy will be available at the door.  Doors open at 0930 and the conference finishes at 1730.

Please present your ticket at the door on arrival. Printed or on a mobile device is fine.

The venue (Parkhouse Centre, Bude) backs onto a large public car park.  There are two separate car parks within walking distance (https://paganphoenixsw.com/2022/03/07/parking-at-the-conference ).  Please note that parking charges apply, even for disabled guests, so please bring change for the meters.  The Wharf and the Crescent Car parks do allow an hour of extra free parking for Blue Badges but they are slightly further away.  Most car parks use the ‘JustPark’ APP.

Refreshments and lunch

Basic refreshments (i.e. tea, coffee, soft drinks) will be available during the breaks from the kitchen area.  Please bring cash but note that ATMs are mostly in Bude itself.  The nearest shop is the Crescent Post office shop on the corner of The Crescent.

One free pasty per ticket holder will only be provided to those who have booked in advance.

We have a varied selection of stalls.  This year they are located in their own room, which will be signposted.

Fifth Elephant Stall

The Fifth Elephant stall is your opportunity to bring any pre-loved but no longer wanted Pagan items, artefacts, books, and paraphernalia to the conference where they can be purchased by people ready to love and use them all over again.  The Fifth Elephant welcomes anything with some kind of Pagan connection other than food or alcohol and things that are obviously broken or damaged.  So please dig out those unwanted Pagan items languishing unloved in cupboards at home, bring them to Bude, and support a good cause.

We have a choice of three workshops this year.  Please refer to the programme or website for details. You will be asked to choose your workshop on arrival so that we can allocate space.

Rachael Pollack

Rachael will be ‘in conversation’ with Levannah about Tarot and related subjects. There will be space for questions from the audience.  However, it is helpful to have these questions in advance so that Rachael can give them further thought.  So, please email us any burning questions you may have.
